I'm looking to split my T Rice with "Horsepower" construction...apparently that means basalt has been used instead of fibreglass. As a first timer I'm still learning about the process, but one thing the tutorials don't answer is if the basalt will present an issue when cutting the board in two. Anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks heaps.
As far as I know basalt shouldn't present any issues different from cutting a board layed up with standard glass. Same goes on the safety though, dust mask, glasses, etc.
