Hello!

I´m from austria and I want to buy a splitboard.I´ve read a lot about all the advantages and disadv. of voile-,burton,prior and T3-splits but I can´t decide one.
Now I want to know of you out there why I should buy a voile, a burton, a prior or a T3-split.

btw: the t3 is not well-known in the US.

which one you should by? well, I answer in "austrian slang": das, das dir taugt! go out and try several boards, than you will see which board is the best for you.
starting with this season all splits (voile, burton, prior, never summer, winterstick ... but not the t3) are coming with voile parts. so you only have to decide between the boards...

Im dealing with a similliar dillema. Accept, are the new burton's available yet? when is the winterstick actually coming out? both these boards seem considerably cheaper then the voile and prior boards. are they actually the same price once you order the extra stuff you need to get them all set up? CONFUSION!!!!

Here's my condensed take, Voile's are probably the best deal. My recommendation would be to buy a board that works for you. All of the boards are a big investment so get what you want. Read through old posts on this and Couloir's forums, you'll get tons of info. Each of the boards you've mentioned have been described in some detail, including others like the Blaho Brothers' Never Summer splits.

Keep your lips sealed but I've heard rumor of an extensive bc snowboard review in an upcoming issue of Couloir. Does Kirkwood and fat powder ring a bell?

My shameless plug is for the Blahos and a NS. They can make a custom out of any board in there line, customize it to your liking, but they are a bit pricey. I say it is fully worth the custom work on a bullet proof line of sticks.

I ride a 168 T5, and would like to add a 160 Titan to the quiver.

We need more info about you to make good recommendations.

What type of terrain and conditions do you plan to ride in?
What type of riding style do you like?
What are your goals?
What is your budget?
Height?
Weight?

You could try calling their Rider Hotline (Burton) and asking which dealers got them.

Just a heads up though, they underestimated how many boards they should make this year. Our store pre-ordered some but was later told that we wouldn't be receiving them.

As for the price differences. Keep in mind that the Burton and Winterstick boards don't come with the skins, interface, or pucks…those are sold separately or you can use your existing set.
