 Post subject: Splitin a K2 Recon

Alright so heres the deal i've got an extra board and its a k2 recon. i was wondering if it would be possible to split it useing the split kit. any information would be helpful.

I'm not sure about the Recon but I know if certain year Recon Risers that K2 put some foam in there under the risers. I don't think your board is like that but I'd try to check and see what is in the core for sure. Otherwise, that is one of my favorite boards. I think it would be a great split.

Cut it in half and see :D

I'm not familiar with the recon. But if its an older K2 (10+), the core is most likely partly foam. I guess if you can't find spec information, you might be able to make an assumption based on the weight of the board. K2's foam-core boards were pretty light.

You mentioned above that you have a RECON. That is the same board as the RECON RISER WITHOUT the riser pads, so I doubt you have foam in it.
Do you know what year board it is?
