I agree. I have broken two Venture boards right at the letter "N". If these had a solid base I do not believe they would have broke. Put my Voile's thru much more punishment and never had an issue.

Why I love the Winterstick philosophy. Make it bomber and make it work. I would even contend that makes us Steezeyer, cause we don't have to try to make them look good, the people who know will see a one piece black base and go "yup, thats the way to do it"

Not that i worry about steeze.

That would be very unsteezy.

K2 used to make a park board with a die cut topsheet out of all the scrap pieces from other bases
