im just curious if its worth it. Getting it done in Japan is pretty pricey so ive been quoted the following:

28,000 yen for split
19,000 for universal adapter
22,000 for colltex CT40 skins.

In total that's $850. is that a bit much? i was chatting to random people in Hokkaido this year and they were all quoting prices for fully functioning splitboard purchased (off season) for $500-$700. So naturally it feels a teensy bit much considering i wont be getting to use it until next year anyway (it wont be finished before i leave japan, and then its back to korea and whatever ice remains).

So just kinda looking for advice on what you would do if you were me.
