I just sent in my registration fees. Stoked to explore some new terrain....
Coming from the north - is travel through Yellowstone recommended (open?) in winter? Or better to go the longer way over Teton Pass, up through Jackson?

If you're coming from Lethbridge - just hop on I-15 at Sweetgrass & roll South till you hit Helena. Jump off on 287 to Ashton, ID. Roll down through Driggs & over Teton Pass. The Park is closed to through traffic.
Maybe some Bozo splitter would toss a couch out for ya for a 1/2-way crash spot. Then a guy could hit stuff along the way splittin into Scrubfest.

Don't leave home without it. There are couloirs in them thar hills! Keep posted for a Scrub Conditions trip report! You don't need rap gear, but bring the ax and poons. It is up to you what you want to ride! Check out Turiano's book...all the beta you need. I definitely have my eye on a few lines this year.
