just returned to north america and this event sounds like as good a reason as any to get my board back out!

would anyone be interested in watching a slideshow of my adventures touring in the southern alps of new zealand? does anyone have a projector?

also... i hate to ask, but does anyone have an extra shovel and probe i could borrow for the weekend? i sent mine back from NZ with someone else, whom i just discovered did not put them in the mail last week when i asked, so i'm not sure i'll get that package in time. that's why i carried my beacon and boards myself!

see y'all soon!!

We're gonna live it up this weekend. Bring your bright clothes. I'm in horrible shape and my board & skins are beeing finicky so rather than slaying lines I'm gonna focus on shooting them. I hope my hardwear (70-200 f4L!) and shooting techniques can keep up with all y'all's sick riding!

Glad to hear someone else is in lousy shape. I'm hoping to drive down from Seattle.

I am! Looks like I'll get there Saturday night and then tour on Sunday.

Ben, I have an extra shovel and probe but I probably won't be able to get it to you till Sat. night. Let me know if that works for you.

Who's touring Friday afternoon? Worth it?

Who's driving up from SoCal Thursday evening? I'm gonna be camping around Keough hot springs, and finishing the drive to Strawberry Friday morning.
Beer and hot springs. What could be better? (I know...)

bs. i've got a probe and shovel for you and will be arriving friday night.

EDIT: actually scrap that thought bs. at this stage it looks like i won't be able to make the party, which i'm SUPER bummed about. :nononno: however work want me to go to cambodia for a week, which i'm not too bummed about :D

i hope everyone has a great weekend. sorry for the last minute bail out. take plenty of pics, but ride even more.

peas.
