That's it the snow porn has been broken out and seeing glimpses of snow up high, I need it. Like a crack addict in search of rock, me and BH are heading in for the weekend to backpack, to scope a new spot, and hopefully get snowed on. All this talk of scrubfest and the like has me jonesin' !! I know you guys feel it to, WINTER IS COMING!!!!! Who else is fiending for some of that white stuff(not crack!)?

I was rumaging through some photos of last season, and I realized we were skiing by now - in Pow. Quite a contrast for us, as we've had some fairly warm weather here in central Colorado. Even where I live in the mountains, it has been well above normal. I haven't had to burn wood yet, and last year I was burning by Labor Day. That said, it looks like we may get some cool weather and mountain snow soon.

Jonesing, yes. I'm pathetic enough to strap my board on and bounce on the trampoline.

Let's git 'er done.

dave- We're heading into the absarokas. Gonna go to Blacktail lake and scout the peak for this winter. I think we're trying to head in from Deep creek on the paradise valley side. I'm still trying to see how my leg feels so nothing to crazy. Looks like we are going to get our wish as far as getting snowed on.

nomad- What's the content like for the snowboard flick? I can only handle a certain amount of jib to big mountain ratio. When exactly is it because I am always looking for a little more stoke.

Don't think we're taking boards. Although since we aren't you know it will snow enough.

The snowboard flick should be 95% pow and big mountain (estimate). I agree with you that watching jibbing gets old real quick.

Their past productions have had some sick AK lines, japan powder trees, avalanches, some cheese wedges and maybe one or 2 rails for the entire films
