Some gorgeous photos here let me tell ya'. You may want to put the shims back under the touring brackets though. You've got a bit of space there. I found I had the same problem with mine.

Those touring brackets really are amazing. With both the Blazes and the brackets there is soo much more surface which makes the skin mode feel way more stable.

Nice setup by the way.

the instructions say no shims under the touring bracket but like you I have play
is there a good reason not to put them under the bracket.

the Mr chomps appear to work fine with the shims under......I am missing something Will?

Hey Dafu,
Our first runs had countersinks that were a little too deep, so you can either use the shims as you are or we'll hook you up with some M6 x 10mm screws (the standard ones are M6 x 12).

Thanks!

Will,
Can you talk to us about the straps that are attached to your heal lifters? They look like they'd make kick turns on steeps slops and side hill climbs easier.

Will Shims are fine... I just didnt want to make a balls up (breaking something or loose a crampon) just because I didnt follow your instructions.
