sorry for the slow reply Colin.
We went up to near the end of 20 to pyramid mt. I was going to hang out and go up 542 today, but I had an incident tring to ride across a steepish rive of ice. I don't think magnatraciton would have been much help. Just some bruising of ass, elbows, and ego, but I am going to take a couple days off.
next weekend, rewings and whistler. I think I am going to Rogers pass the following weekend.

Ha. I also moved to the area recently from the midwest and would love to get out with some people. Unfortunately it'll have to wait until I get back from a little surf trip to Hawaii... Ha.
I do have a question. What does everyone use for maps for riding places like stevens or snoqualmie? I read a lot of TRs and am wanting to attach the names of peaks, ridges, bowls, and other features with a map. Topos would be rad, but if you're using a plain old USFS map... Cool.
I get back on the 14th... Let's get out soon after.

I'm new to the splitboard scene. I live in Seattle. As of right now, if I get out on my splitboard it's with Guides or "partners for hire" in Idaho. I'm looking to get out in the cascasdes. Anybody out there doesn't mind me hanging with their crew, I would appreciate it. I'm capable.
Just got a pair of spark blaze bindings in the mail. Very excited to check 'em out.

Sorry.
Hey to all the new mid west homies!
Google maps shows the offical and unofficial peak names. I use natty geo topo and green trails.
As far as names of bowls and ridges, it's just local knowledge. You wont know til someone tells you. Some have multiple names, and some names have multiple locations. Mostly out of confusion due to it not being written.
