To build bindings requires completely different machinery than the equipment used to build boards and yes, it is a bit pricey making them. I for one, am glad that there aren't too many companies out there building split specific binders. I think it keeps the products higher quality. If it weren't for the high price tag, I would have bought some already. As long as binders are made here in the US, instead of china, the cost will always be high. So for those who can afford new gear from these companies, please continue to support them. Their products are solid and worth the money if you can afford them.

The love is people supporting the innovation and people supplying our tiny niche market with some really excellent tech. Buy it - support em. It's worth the coin. Or just hang in the terrain park & ride chairs.
Your tiny niche? Would that be the upper elite of the snowboard community? I guess us sniveling old park riders should raise any questions that might offend the tech-gods.
I know plenty of these "upper elite" splitboarders who live on less that 11K per year...
cough cough
