Sounds like this is going to turn out epic treepilot. Definitely going to show for this but have a few questions as this is going to be my first fest Not sure where my fitness level is going to be due to an injury but hope to be able to ride new terrain with new people.Wondering if we can list of people going with what they have in mind riding. Conditions can throw objectives out the window but its a start.

I personally know people who are planning on attending whose fitness ranges from a low of about 2,500 to 3,000 feet in a day to those who can do 10,000+
I expect it should be pretty easy to find compatible people for fitness and also risk tolerance/training levels/experience/downhill skills too.

I'm very stoked to announce that Prior Snowboards has stepped up to become the presenting sponsor of the Canuck Splitfest. What does this mean? Well, how about a custom splitboard in the raffle? If you win, you get to pick the model, the size, and the graphics (you don't have to take the maple leaf top sheet, but it'd be a great choice!)
If you were sitting on the fence about attending, this ought to be pretty good motivation. Prior will also be bringing some demo sticks as well for attendees to ride.
It makes me proud to be a Canadian when a company that hand builds here in Canada steps up to support the Canadian splitboard scene.
mrash: I think I'm good, but might ask you to drop off some promotional posters at some shops once they're done?
jcocci: Good to hear you're coming up for it!
jerrett: It's pretty informal, so I'm sure you could sneak a skier or two into the uptrack, but I suspect some attendees might be opposed. It is a splitfest after all

raym, let's keep in touch. I will definitely want to carpool with some folks. Think I am going to reserve my room in the next day or two. NOt sure who else in the Seattle area is going yet.
I'm in for sure, and my girlfriend is a definite maybe at this point. We're in Greater Vancouver and will be looking to carpool with anybody coming from Vancouver, Vancouver Island, or any Americans crossing at Sumas, Linden or Blaine.
Looks like there is a solid group of coastal folks forming as of now so hopefully we'll all be able to work something out re: ride shares. Anybody thinking of taking Friday and/or Monday off of work?
Big thanks to Treepilot for taking on all the organization and drumming up sponsors for this event - it will no doubt be a big success.
