slider plates not sliding on easily

I'm setting up a board with voile slider plates and pucks, and the plates are not sliding on the first puck (heel side) without a considerable amount of force ( more then I have required on other boards).

Is there something that may be done to make the plates slide on easier?

Does the same plate slide OK on the other heel puck?

Seems it's either a bad plate or puck...

Use a marker on the puck to see where the wear is when you slide on, then you may try filing this off a bit. I gues you have to be pretty careful.

But I'd focus on seeing if there is a difference in the pucks (i.e. you got a defective or non-standard puck) - then ask for a replacement.

Thanks guys,

The plates aren't sliding onto any of the pucks very easily.

I spoke with Voile today and they also suggested a bit of careful sanding /filing.

See how I go ....thanks once again
