Watched the "Deep Week" segment last night. Man, I was holding MY breath that pow was so deep. Hoping to have landscapers tweak my backyard a bit to look like theirs.

[quote="powpow"]Quick rant: I ordered the Blu-Ray on Oct. 12.
On Oct. 19th, I got an email from TGR saying it won't ship until Nov. 24.
Seriously?
Annoying and amateurish. quote]
Same here. I sent them an e-mail explaining how I pre-ordered it so that I would be one of the firsts to have it. I've been to 2 premieres and all the shops have had it for a month or so...but not the BluRays. Apparently there was a huge f*x% up with Blurays recently (other films & producers too).
All this to say, I got an e-mail back and it was shipped Friday!

Yeah, mine arrived on Friday. Still late, but better late than never.

Dang broken link. That was a perfect gif (?)!
Coupla things that stood out during my Sunday morning coming down viewing yesterday.
TR's hit off the kicker after 12 days in a tent. The tension released after that jump is palpable.
Another moment was Xavier's descent on "Wall of Walls" (!?) Damn. I knew I shoulda written down the name of the line. Either way, it was on the 2nd AK trip. Just an insane exit.

Got my blu-ray yesterday (I ordered the first day they opened pre-orders) - haven't had a chance to watch yet though, but I saw the premier in SLC. 3 hours of extras!
Seems like the blu-ray authoring is a huge pain - the LifeCycles blu-ray has been delayed for a while too.

Sat here stunned...............similar to other comments..........going to be charged $50 for BluRay, but all on back order [here in BC, Canada].......then I see HD available on itunes.
Bought it this afternoon.......and was blown away......
Quite simply the best film I have seen........the scale of the climbs and the lines were incredible...........and the thought that it was human powered was fantastic.
To blow off the climb due to the rock falling....after all that effort..........worthy of applause for sure......
Many thanks to TGR for such a splendid concept......

Saw it saturday finally!
The best movie experience i've had in a while... exactly what i was expecting with huge lines and high expectation after sitting out thru a storm. No jibs, no stupid stuff a la Jackass. Just well documented riding and mountaineering.

Read somewhere where Greg Stump and other, ummm, classic filmmakers aren’t huge fans of the banger shot after banger shot collage movie. He believes movies paint a portrait of the shot as well the approach and thoughts after riding a heavy line. Showing periphery events. Documenting the journey to said line. Running out of gas. Trading fresh fur for fuel. Spooning a Nevada hooker in the desert to keep warm. Whoops. I digress. Working on MY Movie there…
Enjoyed Deeper as a movie because it introduced me to a cast of seemingly normal dudes who happen to be bat shit crazy. I keed. I know about the calculations necessary in a long approach because you told me about it. Xavier describing the unspoken connection after climbing the La Coline Grande. Life is a journey. Best TR ever.

after a long wait finally saw the film last night in nyc. nice to see JJ there to introduce the flick knowing there is no snow in sight and he could have probably be somewhere with snow worth shredding!! film did not disappoint, and enjoyed the documentary style, made you appreciate the passion and respect these riders have for the mountains...much better than watching the same park jump and jib over and over. over all a great night out in the city and $7 pbr tall boys my only complaint, no snowboard giveaway in the raffle? was looking forward to coming home with a new solution or mountain twin hopefully we see some snow soon, tough to watch a film like that and not be able to go out and ride... cheers to a powder filled winter
