ok guys, being an east coaster, most of my access to bc usually involves at some point being in or around a resort... not all the time but often.

i know, ec bc? lol.. stop your laughin ;) anyway, there's lots of stuff off the back of these resorts that requires a skin back out. so i am usually at some point going to need to lock a board up at a resort. here on the ec i can just see some grom drooling over my split and taking it. so lovking is a requirement...

as ya'll know the bindings come off so locking the board to something could result in returning to my binding being locked to a fence but the board be gone! :(

anyone have any suggestions on splitboard security?? (besides locking it inside the car)

I'd pass it through the bails on the climbing bars and through the bindings. Makes it a big knot. Unappealng tothe snatch and run kid. I'm sure you can also rig something to a left over insert.

You can also use the skin mode brackets. Most of the quick retract locks would thread through these. Bring the bindings inside with you if you can't get the lock to thread through those. If you bring the bindings in there will probably be a lot less interest in a locked splitboard. Of course this probably works best with the Voile setup's.

What the FCUK are you talking about!? Im an easter and most ALL the BC i ride is NOWHERE NEAR a resort! You need to look harder...or WORK harder for those turns......Just thought id bust your balls a little :D

Anyway.....Certain Places, Like JAY PEAK for instance, i could see using a split for sure, but your exit is away from the resort. If i was running that line, the board would be in my possesion ALL the time...or once i was done doing those lines, id switch back to my solid RESORT board to ride trails.....

IF you have a prized splitter, id trust my car over a lock any day.

yup mostly VT... some stuff in the Cats but the snow has to be right, and it was in late Feb and Mar this year 8) it was good.

the daks and nh both look good.... i need to get another season and dial myself in on the split then i'll graduate to some bigger things.

good news is i sold my 170 split s today (too dang big for me) so that frees up some $ for a prior khyber 160 bc tree board. yee haw.
