Conditions were crappy compare to last week's unexpected 8-10in... Jay received snow thru the week... but it rained on friday... things were "interesting"... hard pack... very hard pack...

Day 3 on the slopes of Jay this year already... first time to the summit... I've never ridden this much before the season's stard and not done the Jet... it's normally the first one i ride... and last one as well... Compare to a lot of places, i was able to ride top (very top) to the bottom of the Northway.

looking very good up there, wish i was able to get away but i have a ski patrol course starting this weekend...... still waiting to see snow up north here in quebec city.....

More came down today.

deep is an understatement for today.

watch out anywhere there wasn't a decent base before this storm, you'll quickly find out whatever's lurking underneath if you aren't careful.

Agree for both!

Everything off the Jet at Jay was great except a few woods that need more maintenance to ride them this early in the season. Still dangerous in the woods... no base under that thick layer of blower!

ok so looks like we got the base and the ten day forecast looks like snow and good temps.....

hiked up to a boney line at 3600 ft Sunday, glad I had the rock board. Cliff bands were icy shit, less steep aspects had nice snow. We need a foot + of wet to seal the deal in central VT.

heading to the notch tomorrow. thinking about driving down to hit aschutny later this week. they should be getting some snow.
