Nice work Marcus! Those sticks look top quality. What kind of wax did you use to seal the sidewall with? How often do you have to reapply the wax if at all? Do you figure you could use a wax finish on a wood veneer top sheet and it would hold up well?

first - my side walls are hardwood - ESCHE. after board outline cutting , and milling the sidewall . painted with pu clearcoulur. after curring. scratch the sidewals with a blade , and than wax . pu clearculur is one step to close the wood ... only wax work on wood , it is engough.... because save is better i take hohlmenkohl withe wax. wax the sidewalls it on each base time waxing . my boards with wax top - only one time wax on each seasion - on wood top s wax it 2 times in a seasion. a real wood top with wax has a top haptic .... you must feel it....
