Does anyone know how the Eastern Sierra area did after that last storm cycle? It seemed like a good amount of precipitation (for October) but it looks like the snow levels were pretty high.

Armpit deep at CP...if you're sitting down. Great deep pow, requires pretty steep terrain to stay on top, and there is still some stuff lurking below the surface.

Only been out three times in North Tahoe so far...hiked Alpine Meadows twice and took a few laps at Castle Peak above the Grub Hut - Castle was before the storm and was still great - Alpine on Sunday was good up high but the bottom flat section killed me - way too deep! Anyway, will be getting the next few days so hope to post some TRs...

Did one lap on West Shore today (too tired and run down from day before to do more ). rughty and myself broke our own trail to our favorite tree run, but soon realized it's a boulder field up high when it doesn't have 15 feet of snow on it. Snow was amazing and turns were still great. Just can't open it up yet in this area.
