Any news on the Solution?

I want one bad. But, will it really happen this fall? Has anyone preordered yet?

I just bought on at Mission Snow/Skate in Calgary. They didn't say exactly when it would be in but did say it should probably be within a month. I think it was $799 CDN. They had two coming in at the time.

Bought one at Salty Peaks in SLC. I will keep my fingers crossed it shows soon!

Porters in Lake Tahoe said no shops are getting the Solution till mid November. Not sure if this goes for Canada or Europe. The latest news I heard before this today was that they were stuck in customs. Not sure that was true now that we are looking at Nov arrival.

News from the Jones dudes is that a container ship full of Solutions is expected to arrive sometime within the next two weeks. From there, they all have to be processed and shipped to retailers... So.. Maybe 3 weeks?

I am glad I coughed up the cash for one in August....

I knew they would be late as hell, camels are just not that fast.

Neither are the pirate boats they are shipping on.
Here is a spy shot of the Jones boards in route the the USA.

My hopes are that I get mine before the snow really builds up. And if you haven't ordered one and want one? I think you will be waiting a while.

Hah, funny stuff. It must be an epidemic cause I just got a message that my copy of Deeper that was supposed to be here last week will now be arriving around Thanksgiving. It must be made in the same factory. You'd think with all the piracy payouts going on they'd be able to upgrade their motors.

Apparently, the Solution is a very difficult board to manufacture. Because the inside edge magnatraction is a new technology, they've had a bunch of problems getting the boards to line up.
