Hey all,
I've been reading through the boot forum as well as many other web pages and I'm having trouble locating some info.
I'm looking for a boot like the driver X only with traditional laces. I want something stiff, non boa and non-skinny lace quick do up- that I can use in the BC. Does anyone have any reccomendations? I have bigger feet (11.5 or so) so I'm also looking for reccommendations (if there are any) for smaller overall profile. Obviously gortex would be required as I do a lot of Riding out west and am looking to start doing multi-day tours.
I live close to Toronto in Flat-ario and our anual ski/snowboard show is coming up so that will be a great spot to compare back to back boots and make the right choice.

Have you tried the ThirtyTwo Prime? It's a stiff boot, very comfy. The conditions here are drier than in Onterrible, but I've had enough rain days at Fernie and +10C days slowshoeing to know they do fine when it's wet. I don't think Gore-Tex is going to help much, unless the boot liner is perforated so water vapour can escape. I'd concentrate on having a good sock system to keep your feet comfy.

Thanks PB,
this is exactly the type of info I'm looking for. I'll plan to move to Calgary this season so the boots will be worn around fernie/Rogers pass etc more than here. Thanks again for the feedback.
