I thought I had this video but I can't seem to find it. Anyone have one they can copy or put onto DVD?

It's from 1991 and is pretty much responsible for my interest in snowboarding. I need this viddy! :)

No, but I got Snowboarders in Exile. Another classic. That and Pocohontos were my favorite snowboard flicks back in the day.

The soundtrack to "in Exile" is one of my favorite. Husker Du...
I can hear that "Captain..." during Damian Sanders part right now.

The Captain song is Firehose. The HR songs are sweet, too.

Is Critical Condition a TB flick, or are those Mack Dawg films?

Trying.... to.... remember.

I knew that song wasn't Husker Du...I didn't know it was Firehose though. Ah...the good old days. At least you slugs were right out here where stuff was going down. I had fun riding the ice back east though.
I don't remember Critical Condition...who's in that?

Firehose is the shit!!! I saw Mike Watt break several bass strings during a show once, that dude is a genius. No one listens to them anymore. Am I retro if I mainly listen to pre-2000 music. I never buy new shit anymore. Firehose, Meat Puppets, Nirvana, Kill Em All, Frizzle Fry, Fishbone, Faith No More, Cows, Bad Religion, Mudhoney--I just don't hear new music that inspires me much anymore.

I'll tell you something else, if I have to listen to some boring ass hip hop shit on a boarding/ski video again I'm going to puke. I know speed metal isn't always appropriate but come on--throw in an instrument.

Sorry for the hijack. Back on topic--I've never seen Critical Condition or Exile, but I want to.

I wouldn't say that…I like a lot of the bands you've mentioned. I've just found that I can only listen to certain stuff for so long or during certain periods in my life.

I like old, new and everything in between. :)

Like I said before, spoken like a true moderater

I'm not saying everything has to be hard BTW. Just good. Maybe there are good bands out there now and I'm just to old to go find it. I definetly don't have my finger on the pulse of the scene anymore.

Do we at least agree that the new shit they play on the radio typically sucks :?:

I'm pretty much a metal guy here, I don't know the Cows, I don't like the meat puppets much but the rest are good by me.

Neurosis, Slayer, Fu Manchu, Clutch, Willie Nelson, Neil Young, and In Flames are some of my regulars as are most of the ones you listed, along with Swollen Members and The Grouch for a little hip hop. I also like Robert Palmer and Phil Collins though :D

I guess this topic is drifting but, eh...

dude, you don't like Nucleus' Jam On It :?:
