Can someone scan the template of the Voile Split Hooks. I don't have the stickers. I don't want to wait a week for the sticker kit to get shipped.

Or do you think I could eye ball it?

Learn from my mistake and dont eyeball it. Just call voile and get the template, Its summer and you have months before it snows. You should t-bolt the pucks as well

I have seen many people eyeball it with no consequence. It really all depends though on your comfort level and ability to cope with a re-drill should you f it up. Also use a punch, center drill or a tiny drill bit when starting the hole to keep the drill bit from wondering when drilling the final hole. I would also suggest not putting the clips too near the ends of the board. Set them back enough so that when the clips are extended straight out, the notches aren't exposed over the edge of the board. Saw an example of what can happen if they stick out too far at the Kali Party (hook casualty). Good luck.

I would take advise from people who have actually cut a board in half I dont think roughty has ever cut a board. but if he could post some picks of his work I will gladly eat my words

thanks for the advice. I made my own template in illustrator. It worked ok. It would have been a lot easier with the sticker.

I'll post templates if anyone is interested.

Gonna try and avoid the chick drama from BGnight, but here is a good reason to use the template, the sticker is much easier.

Its absolutely amazing to me how the internet destroys basic human communication. If we were all face to face in a big room, there would hopefully be mutual respect and delight in each other. I've met aksltxlt, and he was a super rad dude!

Personally, I simply do not have enough time or energy in my life to invest in silly dramatics. Slogging takes enough energy...
