Hi, I've recently acquired a splitboard and will be attempting Elbrus in Russia in June, 5600m. Can anyone point me in the direction of some suitable mountains to skin up and snowbaord down in the Andes, and when are the best conditions, September?

tell me something about the elbrus... it's in my wish list

no idea about Andes... but i think some vulcan like chimborazo or similars would be rideable

sorry im late.

in medoza argentina exist a lot of placest to split. the problem is the altitud 10000 ft the base here but with a few days off aclimatation there is no problem.

Late? I think that is an understatement when the thread is 4 years old but its always good with info. :thumpsup: :mrgreen:
