I was interested in these as well so I called SVST and they were able to sell me some over the phone. I bought a bag of 50 for $70, which comes out to $1.40 each. If you or anyone else would like to purchase some I will sell them for $2.00 each and that would INCLUDE shipping to anywhere in the U.S.

No worries, I did some hunting and found the Canadian dealer for Maislinger Snoli, the manufacturer of those inserts. Canadian ABC carries both 9mm and and 7mm T Nuts with base compound. A 50 pack goes for $70 as well and the countersink bit is $57. A bit steep initially but I figure I can pass it on once I'm done with it, maybe it'll make the rounds among those of us still splitting our own boards. Perhaps if the Canadian dollar was above par I'd have gone with SVST, but as it stands, I think Canadian ABC is the best deal currently for those of us north of the border. Plus no shipping across the border.

x2 I will want some as I'm about to split my own deck. would also gladly pay shipping to 'borrow' the countersink as well, I have seen this approach work out alright on a car forum where the tool made the rounds so all who needed to use it, could do so.

ptex t-nuts look to be the best+simplest way to do it.

Me and a buddy are trying to find a place to get these from, svst is tapped out and wont be ordering again until next season. I tried looking at that canadian company but the site doesnt seem to be setup for ordering, anybody know where i can get a bunch of these??
