Moonwalk- the point at which the slope angle and gravity exceeds the surface grip of the climbing skins, resulting in a sliding backwards ballet of poles and explicatives

Hacking-using your poles to knock down your climbing bars while in a standing position.

Skins - synthetic material with hairs on one side, glue on the other that are put on skis to walk uphill.

Post-holing: walking through deep snow and sinking, resulting in holes that look like a post hole. Occurs in deep snow.

hucking: to launch oneself from a rock, cliff, cornice or other feature resulting in massive air time.

ST SD............Swallowtail Splitboard Decision

A directional snowboard with a cut in the tail of the board, leaving two indepedent tails that work as one. Allowing snow to pass through effortlessly, allowing the rider an easier ride, and enabling the board to ride above the snow more so than a traditional twin tip board. Specific to deep Powder snow, and a cult classic amongst some of the older riders.
