I'm from Montreal, Qc but ride in Jay Peak, VT. I got a splitboard so i can ditch the snowshoes and explore mountains around my area. I've been snowboarding for 19 years now... I ride anything with snow...

I need to explore everything around Jay including Big Jay (which i know pretty well... I've been going there for 15 years!) but also want to explore all the surrounding mountains that my telemark buddies have been enjoying for a while!

Anyways, anything North of Camel's Hump would be nice!

I am from western mass I ride Sugarbush the most, but would be up for riding Jay from time to time.

hey BigJay. i just moved to montreal after 6 seasons out west. i'd be super keen to try and get in on some trips around here, and possibly vermont as well. i'm new to splitting (been out a couple times) but have been snowboarding for around 12 years. i have a pretty haggard setup at the moment, but i've got everything i need to get going. noticed this post is pretty old, but get back to me if you're still looking for partners and are still in the area. cheers.

earthsurfing... we should trade some stashes on each side of the notch... I know a couple people... I can probably get you on the Spruce lift once or twice if we end up on that side of the notch. How carefully do the lifties check tickets on the Smuggs side?

I'm in Burlington, and I'll skin anything. I've been going to Smuggs for the past coupla years now...but at the moment my Smuggs pass might be in limbo (and by that I mean me having a pass this winter at all is in limbo), so I might be looking for a lot of splitting.

I'm in Burlington with a pass to Stowe. I have hit just about everything in Smuggs and looking for some split riders. I like to explore anything with snow, I am hoping to scope out all of Mansfield this year. Always looking for people to ride with. I've been riding for about 18 years and splitting for about 2 with my DIY but just hooked up a Burton. Ready for the snow.

Anyone interested in doing a small gathering of splitters in Northern Vermont? I'm game for anything north of I-89... Of course, Jay's in my backyard... but i wouldn't mind getting out to the north side of the notch for a mini split-fest... beer and food after type of things...

Let me know, i'm available for tours on weekends... can sometime stretch it out to fridays as well...

My schedule varies, but I've requested weekdays off, so if I can come and play I will, but most of the time it probably won't work out. If I can't do a tour, I'd still be up for beers later on. Just let me know when and where.

I'd be down for a shindig. The Notch would be good...but I've never really done too much riding in the notch itself. Should also consider the Teardrop (maybe? there's plenty of good stuff around there). There's always the Jay environ - I'm sure I could swing a drive up that way. When would we want to do this? February? March? Weekend? Weekday?

I'm in. weekends work best for me but I would be totally willing to take a day off for some midweek shredding. Late Jan. early Feb works great for me.

any locale works, I know the notch and teardrop fairly well but always looking for new spots.

I'm down.
