Anyone want to hit up D-ville Sun., Mon., maybe Tues. (leaving from Tahoe Sun. afternoon) for some riding, camping, swimming, and ? I've been denied the past couple weeks, and I've got a glut of vegi oil I need to burn, so I gotta get out of the basin for a little bit. And on that note, are there any mtb destinations worthy of leaving Tahoe for in the middle of summer? Looks like I'll be taking mini-vacations every couple weeks and need some places to go have fun without withering in the heat. And if anyone is planning to ride Tahoe, drop me a line.

Can't meet you at Downie, but feel free to come out to the north bay for some rides mtnman. Lots of good places to ride, one of them near the coast for when it's hot out.
Gotta get up to Tahoe soon.
Also happened to see this article from Bigfoot. Looks like Seth is staying busy multi-sporting. Nice article.

Santa Cruz maybe? Like, um, duh??
Also plenty of stuff from here to BC if you're willing to travel further. I'll tell you more about it when I get back from a week long road trip up there starting this weekend!

Ah yes, Downieville. Thanks for the reminder of the thorough spanking! I talked to Adam Craig afterward (totally cool guy btw), and found out that he ran a single 40-tooth chainring. This proves that he is in fact not human. I think any mortal who has ridden that course would probably agree.
