Our goal for our last day in Oregon was a ascent up the South Sister via the west ridge and a decent via the proudy Glacier Headwall on the ENE side.

From base camp we had a amazing view of the sunrise alpenglow over the South Sister. The snow on the West ridge was wind scoured so we decided it was more efficient to bootpack
