I was thinking of going to Lassen this weekend. Keep me in mind digdug.

Thats why I planned a lunch mid-week with mom. You know, holidays for skiers and snowboarders are in the worst time of year. It seems there is some holiday or special event that screws a weekend. The holidays with the days off are good though.

BTW-whats up with this weather? I don't know if its a good thing anymore. The weather system for Sunday-Monday looks like it may be more of a winter storm with lower snow levels than this one coming Wed-Thurs.

DD- if it snows Sunday do you still plan on overnighting on the mountain?

Just think, when you have kids you can be a terrible father and husband too.

A mid week lunch date wont cut it when you have your mom, your wife's mom, and your wife (mom to your kids) to worry about.

There's always next weekend.

I was thinking about hitting up Shasta this weekend, but would be up for changing plans to Lassen if the weather cooperates. Keep me posted on your ultimate plans as the weekend nears. I have to call it a day on Sunday around 2 though because of dinner with my mom in Redding.

Its been an iffy spring but we gotta take it as it comes, last weekend we skinned to Lake Helen on Shasta in marginal weather only to descend in a whiteout.

If you all bail on Lassen hook up with me at the Bunny Flat parking lot Sat. 7 a.m. for a session somewhere on Shasta, either avy gulch or giddy. I'll be going unless the weather gets real nasty.

Yeah, I may reconsider where I go this weekend. But I really want to ride *assen from the north side. Digdug, unless its a secret, let us know where else you might go. I may end up at Carson Pass or maybe, just maybe, down the east side.
