Question about camp stove pots/pans

The bowls/pots/pans that you can buy for a campstove like the whisperlight or jetboil, can you put them into a campfire to cook with? I'm thinking the titanium ones could be.?. Thanks

I wouldn't put them in to a campfire. You can cook with them on a rack above the fire. You need a big cast iron Dutch oven for cooking in a fire.

I have some cast but I was looking to lighten the load so I was thinking about the titanium pots. I could always rig something to hang them above it... Too much cast is a kayak makes it heavy and it takes up a bunch of space. Thanks

Titanium has a melting point of over 3,000 deg. F so feel free to put it directly into just about any fire you want with no worry of hurting it.
