Anybody tried this boot for splitboarding?

I just picked up a pair and I am going to head into the mountains for a few days with it.

Just wondering if it will be a total disaster in my bindings. It seems like I can tension the straps enough with it. I just wonder about packing out the tongue area from skinning and trashing my shins because they aren't as high as my snowboarding boots.

I use these boots for ice climbing.

I would say that they definitely don't have enough support/padding where the highback is for snowboarding.

The burlier Nuptses work, but are still lacking compared to real snowboard boots.

IMHO don't bother, it'll be a painful ride down
