**Edit** This was kind of a "spur of the moment" tourwhere we chose our line from a digi photo take the week before from an adjacent ridgeline, given that fact, we were mistaken in thinking that we were climbing U.S.G. I am still trying to put the real name to this peak.
Sorry for the confusion.

2/21/09 Adimmen (TGR) and I got together to hit up a big line. We'd been talking about a S. Lookout trip but opted for the U.S. Grant line first due to it's remoteness and the absolutely steller weather that was upon us. The original plan was to hit U.S.G. on Sat. and then hit S. Lookout on Sun. Unfortunatly, due to the cruddy snow conditions we decided to put S. Lookout on hold until things shape up a bit and rode some sweet N facing trees on sunday.

Here's the photos.
Enjoy

The peak

We climbed and rode the obvious middle line.

The most difficult bootpack I've ever been a party too. Luckily Adimmen comes equiped with crazy mutant powers that allow him to set a bootpack in the crappiest of conditions.

I changed the name of this TR to reflect the true name of this peak.

Here are some additional photos taken by adimmen.

This first photo was taken the previous weekend.

So sick!!! Colorado is my home but i've never toured there. That couloir looks unreal and those peaks.....wow. They dwarf our little Wasatch range over here in Utah.

Sweet line. I like that little island/fin thing in the middle of the couly, it gives it a unique feel in the pictures.

If you are ever headed to Twilight or Kendal please let me know. Live in your neighborhood and rarely have the chance to ride with other splitters. Always good to ride new lines with new folks. Looking to hit up Gun Barrel off of Molas later this week since conditions have finally stablized. Just damn beautiful out lately. Oh yeah, looking to go up Chicago Basin the first of May if you have any interest. Train starts running that weekend I believe. Thanks
