Decided to hit Mt Ann last Friday. With a great weather window and great conditions report from Eli on Thursday, Snoslut and I headed up to Baker Thursday night and finally hit Mt Ann on Friday. We have both tried to get this in the past on numerous separate occasions, but for one reason or another have never successful, whether it be weather or avy conditions. Things were in perfect order however last Friday. We ended up with a group of 6 and there was a group of 3 other skiers ahead of us, which was the biggest "crowd" we have seen out there, looks like its becoming a popular spot as there were also quite a few tracks from days prior. Snow was excellent, best snow I've ridden in a over a month, which is very sad (we need more snow badly). Sorry no riding shots as the snow was too good to stop and take the camera out. Jcocci, great scenic shots. The Shuksan moonrise is really unique. :thatrocks:

I've only toured up there a little bit, but the terrain between Shuksan and Baker seems so different from most other places in the Cascades.

The views back there are amazing. Terrain doesn't look half bad either.
