Anyone have a source for ordering a set of cap straps for a decent price? Last shop I saw them in wanted an arm and a aleg... Not to picky on brand, as long as they have good ratchets... Burton, Technine, or anyone else's?
edit: Found some Ride ones at Salty Peaks for $40 + $5 shipping, so might just snag those as I'll be testing them on some Ride bindings... Seems like the going price these days... I'm going to make a few phone calls to shpps around the San Fran/San Jose bay area to see if anyone has something in stock that I can just grab for this weekend...

Yo G,
The Burton ones are 15% off here http://www.backcountry.com/store/BUR251 ... ID=2315910 , not sure how much shipping is. I got last years version (no cut out) from my local shop for 50% off ($20). I'm going there tomorrow to get my boy something so I'll see if they have any more.

Cool. Chris, let me know if you found some at the local shop, I'll gladly take them off your hands...
If not, I'll give the backcountry store some love....
Last resort, geartrade works too... No great hurry, but would be nice sooner than later.. Wife needs new boots, and until that happens, some toe "capstraps" would help. Here current boots are completely packed out around where her regular toe straps hit and it's not exactly adding to her riding enjoyment.
I tried to set her up with some Flows in the meantime, but didn't have the time to fully get them dialed for her on a pow day, so went back to the straps to keep her happy for now. She gets cranky when my time fiddling with her gear puts her time riding fresh powder in the trees at risk.. Can't have that! Yep, she's a keeper...
