I've been riding a Mad River Rocket sled for a couple years now and have had some damn good times on it. I found a video on Youtube of some sledders who have definitely taken the sport to another level. If you want to see some crazy lines on a sled check this video out. We're talking double backflips and twenty-plus foot cliffs here, people!

The people who posted the video on Youtube have their location set as Stowe, VT. And the Mad River Rockets are made out east as well so it would lead me to believe they are from out there as well. That doesn't of course mean that they didn't film some or all of this out West. I will say this much for sure - - they are going insanely big for riding on sleds. Wow.

I spend alot of time in rural VT and the sleds are made in Stowe. In Vermont, these sleds are all the rage although rarely can most people justify the purchase. I know some people woh hike with them in the backcountry around Stratton and Jamaica and have seen a few sleds in cross country areas and state forest trails while snowmobiling,
These look like a blast to ride, and I think it would be a blast to ride out west on one of these.
someday, I actually hope to own one of these, but for the price I could buy a new split or solid board.
I will see if I can get any pixs of the sleds up close and post them. I know a guy who rides one with some people on a private ski hill.
