I'm not technically in southern BC, but 5 minutes across the border. Close to Fernie. Within striking distance of the purcells and anything else out of the Columbia valley.

Thinking about going to Rogers Pass weekend of Feb 14/15 or 21/22. Never been to the area so it would be appreciated if anyone can show me around.

BTW, I am based in Vancouver.

, just check in at the info center early, there is sure to be some one heading some place smart and cool. for your first time, you can't go wrong. :doobie:

I'm in Vancouver and always looking for more people to tour with. I have Thursdays and weekends off and can probably be convinced to skip school any other day of the week with the right trip/snow combination.

Doing an AST Level 1 course next week; looking to start back country thereafter...picked up my Split board last summer and been using it at Kimberley to get the feel of it...

local (shore mountains) snow condition is pretty crappy right now but I'm always up for a good tour for the workout.
