Hey Folks - Figured I'd get this out there early 'case anyone is already making plans (besides that, I'm just anxious). I'm thinking of trying some place in South Lake on Saturday. I was thinking Pyramid Peak but I'm totally open - I haven't been south of the lake yet. I've got all the gear, peeper included, but limited experience ('cept for the boarding part). Thanks to some great advice (especially from Matt), had a good trip last weekend at Mt. Rose with ChisI and another friend. Below is Chris skinning to Tamarack (hope the post works..). We did get some pow - Just like Matt said :D Want to get out again before all that snow melts!

If anyone is interested or has some timely advice on the area, please chime in. I'll be driving from Santa Cruz area. Cheers. Steve

OK - How did you get my picture in there? I obviously screwed it up :?
Will you be splitting on the west shore this weekend?

I hope you didn't get denied last weekend :(

Yeah, I'll be on west shore. Not sure where I'll be going. Hopefully Tallac, but I'll be with my wife so I won't get too crazy.

I denied myself last weekend. All the weekend driving finally caught up with me and I wanted to sleep in for once.
