I just heard that the southeast aspect of the Headwall at JHMR ripped taking out the bottom of the new building at the top of the Bridger Gondola. This includes the new ski patrol shack. It was before that area of the mountain was open to the public and everyone up there was accounted for.
Currently it is raining below 7,000 ft., snowing above with lots of wind!
The and people are still skiing in the backcountry . WTF?
Damn, this is getting crazy. Sounds like they need to fly a bomber over the mountain and just start over. Amazing no one was hurt on that one. Vibes for the patrollers.
