Missed this earlier... Impressive that he kept his beanie and camera... I think I would have made a sacrifice to the snow gods of my camera to have two arms working to keep me close to the surface, but... It just goes to show, once the mistakes are made to get in an avalanche, luck is the only thing left. He just as easily could have been buried deep instead of being spit out on top...

Wow...... you can't experience it much closer than that.
