Funny thing.........people in the Colorado/utah/Wyoming area have no clue it seems to whats out here on the west coast
If I was a snowboard vendor I would look at the amount of resorts and ticket sales in the Tahoe basin
As a vendor of snowboards how could you not go to that size of a market?
Not to mention all travel expense is tax deductible
I'm sure if they were hurting for business they would distribute here, but they are just cranking these things out by hand in a small shop in Silverton, and from what I hear barely keeping up with demand. Same with other CO brands like Unity. I don't think you'll find any Smokin' boards in the Rockies, or skis from the local Tahoe companies. I was fortunate to have a hook-up and got a Venture the first year they made splits, probably the first one in CA. Top notch quality. Unfortunately, I feel like cambered boards are kinda obsolete, so I may replace it as soon as I have the funds.
