Has anyone used any of the Black Diamond skins on their split? Was curious if any of them worked. I know they have wide enough ones but wasn't sure of the tip/tail clips on any of them would work.

I've only used them on my tele skis. I would say that if you can rescue the plate of metal from your old skins, and rivet through the BD skin instead of leaving it to the folded over adhesive, they'll be bomber.

I use BD Glidelite 130 mm skins, and I love them. WAY better than the POS Burton ones. I also love the STS tail clip. I cut a notch in the tails of the skis to fit them though, but I think it's way worth it. Others have simply drilled a hole in the tail large enough for the clip to fit through.



I had a shoe repair guy stitch over the tip attachment (like Shep's rivet idea) instead of using the folded over adhesive. Works great:
