I'm wrapping up a 147cm NS Infinity, and I am curious if there are any shorter splits out there.... DIY, factory, whatever....

Also, I've been kicking around the idea of building a 120 or 130 something split for a niece/nephew/son/daughter that's out there in the world wanting to break into the greatest winter sport there is...there has to be at least one :D

My oldest daughter is five and once she's addicted to turns I'd love to buy her a lil' split.

Check out BCR getting his kids into the bc last year.

that's awesome BCR!!! That's something kids can appreciate for the rest of their lives.

EcoB - has your daughter had a chance to make turns on a solid yet?

what length board would an average sized 5-6 year-old ride?

No turns on a solid board yet but I've gotten her on skis. Who knows the best way to start kids but several people told me that it's really difficult for little kids to make turns on a snowboard and that you should start them on skis. So that's what I did. Check out her first turns...
