Last night for me Widespread Panic, at a small outdoor amphitheater, probably the smallest venue they would play, about 2,200 hippies!
'Twas a bueatiful night. Hippy girls spinning, brews flowing, herb burning!
Who's going to what shows?

I'll be at the Red Rocks show on Sunday (last time I saw Panic at Red Rocks was 1997). Panic has sold out something like 32 straight Red Rocks shows, more than any other band. In fact, Mayor Hickenlooper proclaimed 6/27 to be Widespread Panic day in Denver.
Killer! ohhhh! Panic is one of my favorites! Last time I saw them was a few years ago at the Greek in Berkeley. Great venue for Panic. They aren't headed my way any time soon. Saw Les Claypool last month at the Mystic in Petaluma. Not really a "concert" but there was a nice size mosh pit.

I've got tix for the Radiohead/Beck/others in GG Park on Aug 23rd, and have tix for the Sunday shows as well (Jack Johnson, Widespread Panic, Toots, Rogue Wave, etc.). Should be fun. Would love to see Ben Harper on Saturday though as he usually puts on a good show. Supposed to see Ryan Adams in Seattle on the 26th of Aug, still not sure how I'm going to work all this into my schedule though. Those are the only shows I've got planned this year, I haven't been doing the live music thing much the past few years.
Just scored me some tickets to String Cheese Incident at Red Rocks for July 25th, 25th. Awesome! After losing Phish and Cheese to hiatus I was beginning to think Panic and the Allman's were going to follow suit. But now everyone's getting back together.
Excited to see who is headlining Desert Rocks Festival this year too.

Phish came to Red Rocks last summer and I went up to tailgate with some hippie friends. I thought I could try to score a ticket. Boy, was I surprised. Usually, when a band schedules more than one night in a row, it is because they are so big they want to allow more people to see them. However, the same Phish fans just buy up tickets to all four nights. I never understood that.
Oh well, I'm just a casual fan. It would have been nice to see them, but I was not willing to go to the extremes of what some of the hippies were. One kid was just walking up and down the parking lot with $200 cash fanned out in front of him, looking for a seller. He told us that his girlfriend was 'miracled' (I guess that means someone gave her a ticket), and she was in the concert with some other dude. He maintained that this was a perfectly normal scenario. WTF?
Anyways...this summer I'll be seeing a lot of shows, but one show has me stoked above all others...

Yes!!!! Fokking Maiden! Reino where is that show going down at?
I don't know about all this Phish, and Panic stuff... I just can't stand that hippy jam stuff. But, that's cuz I'm an aggro Polack.
I've got tickets to see APC, and Primus back to back @ Red Rocks.
