Fun day yesterday with Monarch Snowcat Tours. We got some last minute snowfall on sat night that really made the day. Unfortunately the lighting sucked, so pictures did too. Here they are:

Good question. I'm not really sure. We got about 15 laps, but they are pretty short shots. Maybe 10? - can try and trace it out on a topo, I didn't have my altimeter with me.

very nice!! I've only ridden the snowcat at Mt. Hood and the one you guys are in looks like a luxury coach in comparison 70s school bus we were in.
Is this down near Gunnison?
I'm planning a resort trip with my in-laws next winter and I am heavily weighting my choices towards the availability of resort offered or nearby snowcat skiing (riding). Open to any knowledge/experiences with operations in Idaho/WA.

Hey Paul

Gunnison is about 1 hour west of Monarch. Monarch has both ski area and cat operations.
