Salty Peaks in SLC has a fine selection of Voile swallow splits. They have my drool on them from a couple weeks ago but are otherwise good to go. Google them or give them a call, I'm sure they'll ship.

Thanks BSOE. I have contacted them to see if they will match Voile's prices or sell a deck only. Right now they are firm on being overpriced and only selling with interface and skins, which I have enough of. They have my drool from afar, and I may eventually cave. Maybe they will have a killer sale.

I like swallowtails - big swallowtails.
I love my Voile 195 swallowtail so much that when another one came up on eBay I bought it for insurance. The Nitro 195 PowderGun is my heli-board. (Note how similar the Voile is to the Nitro PowderGun - in the flesh they look identical). I use the Nitro 196 PowPow on resort powder days. I just scored the Prior 202 Swallowtail; if there's enough snow in CO this weekend I will give it a try at a resort.
Nice boards, Now I know where the 195 Voile' on ebay went. I've always wanted to try a bigger swallowtail but I told myself no new boards this year (I ended up buying two anyway). That Prior is real nice, If you don't like it let me know, I know of a good home for it .

Don't hold your breath waiting for Salty Peaks to lower their prices on Splitboards. For some reason they never put splits on sale. They do have a huge selection though. I think they have NOS Shimano Skylord clickers for like $500 (about double what they retailed for). Cool shop but a bit different.

Thanks Craig505, good information to know.
ROCK <mumbles wants a swallowtail> HARD PLACE
I guess that is the story of my life. No biggie, I'm bound to stumble on one somewhere, sometime.

I don't understand Salty Peaks pricing. The Voile-usa webstore appears to have swallow tails in stock, on sale no less. they are asking $300 cheaper than salty peaks wants. Mumbles, did you consider going to the source? Are they actually out of stock? (I did not try putting one in my shopping cart.)

Shep, I have been to voile-usa and the do have some in stock. I was hoping to work out a deal with their customer service to get it deck only since I have ample hardware and skins. Their answer was no, buy it all and resell the hardware and skins. I likely will end up going to the source if I get a swallowtail. I'm still considering taking a burton split and converting it into a swallow tail (either a deep V swallowtail or a shallow V fish tail like the O-sin 4708 had). I've spend enough this year I'm considering some cheaper alternatives than to buying new from voile-usa with full setup and skins.
