Got word form Tom's Place. We cant use their facility for a film because My room is the only reservation from the group. Cant blame them there. Im looking through the mammoth Lakes Tourism board for a room to rent saturday night....but it may come down to an outdoor screening with the firepit and a generator.
But if its snowing we cant fit in the back of the Subaru but Im working on it????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

So far we have Spark R & D sending some demo bindings for us ( Thanks Will)
Through Spark we also will have some Venture Splitboards to demo

And I also have a movie I pick uped ..........

Mostly skiing but all backcountry filmed in the Tetons. It does have some snowboarding though

Our route could be spead out between Bishop and Mono Lake so we may have to ride a bit but that will be decided when we meet

Damn, not going to make this one...would love to but my separated shoulder tells me no packs unless it miraculously heals by then.

I got a conference room!!!!

Movie and festivities will be happening at The shilo Inn in Mammoth lakes. We have the conference room from 6 pm till 10pm. Yee hawww

I was just reading Transworld and saw that the Roxy Chicken Jam is going to be held at Mammoth the same weekend as your Split Party... coincidence???

You guys should go check out the professional lady snowboarders rip it up at Mammoth if you get too hung over to tour on Sunday. Or just go anyways.

I really wanted to make this, but weekends is when I make money. How about a midweek split party for the non-weekend warrior types? Looking forward to some TR stoke.

I'm hoping to make it up...work is holding steady right now. Hopefully I'll see some of you there.

Ok Meet at Tom's Place Cafe at 7 am if you want to tour. Saturday and Sunday for sure. I am going to make an attemp on Mt. Tom friday (i dont plan on topping out ) and so far it looks like Me, dutch and storn. If you want to tour friday pm me for my cell or post here, We will try to get to the cafe at 7 on friday but everyone is driving through the night. So we may be late or if its the 3 of us we may just go to Mt. Tom

Saturday night's Film and avalanche activities will be At the Shilo Inn at Mammoth Lakes sometime between 7 and 7: 30.. 2nd floor but I dont know the room # . The desk person will be able to direct you.

I went up this past weekend and the Holiday campground is closed. If you want to camp drive oyut Sherwin Creek Raod from 395 and just pick a flat spot..or turn at The green chrch and head northeast towards Benton. This is all BLM land and you can camp there.
I will be bringing my fire ring so we can drink by the fire at whoever is camping place
