As I missed out on Fridays Tour to Chinook Pass due to family obligations, I phoned Loom to try for Sunday. 10am we were heading south from the 1st pull out just east of the footbridge. It was nice to get out in the area as it will be shut down for the winter soon. From the looks of it anybody out for turns between Tacoma and Bellingham had been at Chinook. Saw this point with a nice north shady aspect and went for it.

Still early season legs were dealt a solid ass-whippin'. Some gnarly exposure below the skin track in a spot or two and we were directly below the peak. A number of switches later, man I miss those we were sitting on top sitting in the sun with views of 'em all.

A great outing...We skinned our balls off, for 800ish ft vert. but thats how it is in the PNW...hope yalls get some soon...Photo credits go to Loom as I have no pimpin' digi gear.
I'm new to the NW and haven't had a chance to make any turns yet this season, but if you guys are ever in need of another splitboarder please let me know.
Thanks,
Kyle
