I need these. I wear a size 9.5 street shoe and have "narrow" feet. I think my 8 yr old floppy Vans Daniel Francks are 9.5 as well. Suggestions on size for last year's model?

Find a place that sells them and try 'em on. Buying blind on the internet is not a great idea when it comes to boots. I understand it may not be an option, but with boots everyone's foot fits a little different.

Can't do. I'm in St. Louis MO right now. I would like to buy last years model which makes finding a store which carries them an even more remote possibility.

I was just wondering about general street shoe to boot sizing. I know its a risk but for 40% off retail I'm ok with taking the risk that they won't fit and I'll have to return them.

I don't think the cut has changed much for the malamute. So if you can find this years model and try them on, you'll probably be ok with last years. I seem to remember that they fit a narrow foot decently, but again hard to say. Otherwise roll the dice and buy your street shoe size.

Looks like if your foot is 10.5 inches long you should rock a 9.5.

note that the boot/liner/footbed combo might take a full two days or more of riding/ touring to resemble being broken in or packed out. after that, try and determine if you have any heel lift. you don't want that.
it can be shimmed with stuff like a wedge of foam. you want to fill up the excess space in the heel of the boot so that when you initiate the turn, it's your edge lifting and not your heel inside your boot. the newer malamutes seem to have a higher volume heel. the general rule is to size down a full size.

Bought last years model (06-07) in a size 9. I usually wear a 9.5-10 street shoe and have narrow feet. It feels like a good fit, snug but not uncomfortably tight. I haven't gotten them on snow so we'll see how they feel after they pack out.
