The snow sucked today. Even in north-facing trees it was heavy and/or crusted badly. One NE steep shot I hit had a mixture of wind scour, wind pack, and heavy powder - changing every few yards. Time to wait for the corn cycle to return I guess.
It was nice to be out with the dog though. Didn't see a soul all morning except at the car.

Anyone know anything more then the fact that *assen got more snow then we did in Tahoe? Who other then me is thinking about a corn harvest up there? Apr 1 already wow!

Heavy heavy pow this weekend in NW N and NE aspects around Echo Pass. Some good turns, some bad. Lots of pinwheels. Kinda corning up on S aspects.
*assen has a good to very good base still and I'd think corn would be in full effect. Heard first hand reports from last Tuesday that they got 7 inches out of the last storm so that has proabably consolidated by now.
