Deep (and yes turnable) blower powder yesterday in the SL trees. Sleeping in the Subaru chalet Sunday night at KW definately paid off.
Around Donner on Saturday was also very, very good, but sketchy avi conditions on NE wind loaded slopes. We got some roll overs to release. I'm sure stuff naturally released with the additional snow.

Yeah it's been a good one here. Went for a quick jaunt around the neighborhood yesterday and got stuck in a valley. The hill I had to skin back up was about neck high with drift....i literally had to crawl and squirm on hands and knees to get back out.
48 hour accumulation on our deck (about an extra 1/2-1 ft. because of drift.)

Update from 3-15-07
Believe it or not there is still shin deep powder on N, NE aspects in the right zones. Quite a pleasant surprise to ride some powder, porn, and corn in this heat. Git sum while you can because its going to be a long, hot summer!

Powderhouse
The snow is so light and dry that there is some dust on crust action, despite the foot or more snow out there. Small sluffs on steeper rollovers. A little breeze at top, noticed impressive plumes of wind transported snow blowing off Freel. Temps are still below thirty, so should last nicely...work on those coughs folks...
